Hey! 29 year old here that needed a precautionary colonoscopy and found this centers staff, nurses, my anesthesiologist and colorectal surgeon to be super kind and approachable. Calming and patient with me and, if anything, my only feedback is they need to throw themselves a bone once in a while and tell themselves they work hard and well despite what they have on their plates every day. I’d TOTALLY get a Colonoscopy from them in the future haha ;) just not for a few decades hopefully.
The procedure itself went fine but I felt like this was there most rushed surgery center I’ve ever encountered. It was like “fast food” of surgery centers. Maybe that’s their goal but it felt so rushed. I’ve had 14 surgeries and probably 10 scopes and never have I seen such speed and rushing me out the door. I was sitting in a wheelchair eating crackers while they’re cleaning my room. It felt strange and not something I’ve seen before. I was *NOT* looking forward to this procedure. However, in the hands of >>Dr Tim Dobin<< @ Endoscopy Center of the Rockies/Lafayette, all my fears were put aside! This Dr is calm, patient, *encouraging*, professional, has a wonderful bed-side manner, is so very kind and informative. Dr Dobin and the **entire** team @ Endoscopy Center of the Rockies/Lafayette that supports him (Kim/reception; Jill/attending nurse; Ryan/anesthesiologist; Andre/transportation) were absolutely TERRIFIC! Beyond the possible embarrassment for writing a review for such a thing lol, I feel like credit is due for this place. All nurses and staff were cordial and pleasant. I hope others that need this procedure done that are as reluctant as I was, are put at ease. This was a walk in the park, absolutely no issues at all.
