So far so good, everyone has been attentive and helpful for my issues.
Apparently doesn't care about his patients. If you have serious issues, this is not the person you want. Not only does McCarthy not really show any empathy or interest in your issue, he doesn't communicate. And obviously doesn't care enough to look any further than the average tests. Horrible care.
Doctor McCarthy is very personable & thorough, however trying to get assistance by phone is very poor.

I have looked for a doctor like Dr. McCarthy for nearly 30 years. He actually listens to my concerns and is willing to take me down a different path than the rest of the doctors I have been to. I always knew there was more to this thyroid issue than anyone else was willing to explore. I drive from the Oregon coast to see him and I'm thrilled to find him. God bless you Dr. McCarthy and your lovely staff.
