I have had many endocrinologists over the years and Dr Metchick is by far the best and most understanding. Managing diabetes around the person’s lifestyle is key!

I just became a new patient of Dr. Lee. He demonstrated to be a good physician. But the staff not so. I have been calling the office for the past week and leaving messages. No one has reached back to me. The reason when my prescription was electronically sent to my pharmacy the directions were not on the prescription . If this is the way they treat a new patient , It is very sad.

They only care about the money not the patient. I’ve never heard of a doctor’s office charging by the hour but that’s what they did to me. In my opinion I was purposely kept waiting in their office specifically so they could charge me for the extra time. During my visit the nurse kept telling me to wait while she consulted with the doctor and kept doing this a few times. I don’t understand why he just didn’t talk to me personally. I have had some issues with my hormone levels for years now. I had them run blood work about 5-6 years ago but they told me my estrogen levels were only "slightly elevated" and I was under 30 so treating it wasn't something they saw as necessary. Fast forward a few years I'm 35 now and I have severe gynecomastia that has developed. I keep pretty fit and have a healthy diet so that shouldn't be the cause.
