In my apt earlier this year Dr Hye Jin Kwon pulled up a BMI calculator on google (which to my knowledge isn't an appropriate estimate of body weight anymore), input my information in, and called me 'very obese' and then proceeded to go out of the room for 5 minutes, come back with wegovy (an ozempic drug) and tell me to buy it. This is without any questions of what I'd been doing to stay fit, what I'm eating and whether I'd be happy increasing my exercise. Dr AK has gone above and beyond for me in managing my complex condition. He is exceptionally smart, is an excellent problem solver and listener, with the calmest manner. I have also found Melbourne Endocrinology are impeccably mannered and helpful. I highly recommend Dr AK and the team at Melbourne Endocrinology.

Avoid dr Mathew Sawyer Complete waste of time Nonchalant and disinterested at best Followed up with other health professionals after this and they too commented on the lack of follow up. My daughter was having issues with her glucose levels and he minimised them and said eat a good meal My daughter did that and ended up in the emergency department with anaphylaxis from recent diagnosis of mast cell activation syndrome Unbelievable
