My wife and I had a deeply frustrating and dismissive experience with Dr Yvonne Chow. We were referred by our GP because my wife (42, pre-menopausal) is dealing with severe symptoms of low energy, low drive, and extremely low libido. Not recommended for TRT patients. I underwent assessment and was prescribed testosterone by Dr Jean Lu, however I was not given what I felt was sufficient information on how to administer the injections. To the clinic’s credit, they responded to my complaint satisfactorily. I had a much better experience visiting a TRT Specialist in terms of information provided.
I saw Dr. Holly Wang and she was fantastic. She listened to my concerns and discussed my blood test results that the GP had sent over. We had a thorough discussion on different treatment options and not once did I feel like she was being pushy. We managed to control my hormonal imbalances and now my blood test results are back to normal and I do not experience symptoms anymore. Dr Holly Wang sent me for lots of expensive tests and then told me there was nothing to be done if I didn’t want to go on ozempic. I suffer with Hashimoto’s and I am struggling to fall pregnant. She pushed ozempic and mounjaro and when I refused, told me to come back when I was pregnant. Absolutely unacceptable care and an expensive mistake to visit her more than once.
The reception staff were friendly and professional. The specialist answered all my questions and I left feeling comfortable and happy.
