It's comforting to see that others share in my disappointment with this "health care" facility. Having numerous thyroid nodules, it's necessary to have a yearly Ultra Sound to check size,, shape etc.. When not contacted by the Radiology dept. for an appointment, I called the E&D office. I left a msg (of course), and no return call. This went on for two weeks. So life went on.... In reviewing their office notes, via the portal, I read "called patient 3X....". This is the first time I’m ever leaving a review on a place, that’s how unhappy I was with my care here. If I could give it no stars I would. I felt like I was spoken to as a child when I’m a full grown adult with a healthcare background and already a good understanding of diabetes and I felt like all my appointments were so repetitive and a waste of my time and the money I spent on my copay. Dr. Maradana was so wonderful. She has been the only doctor to listen and try to find the root of the problem versus just hand out a med. She made me feel like a person not a number in the medical system. She is professional and caring. Will always recommend her to anyone who needs help with endocrine.
