Unrelated to endocrinology, but I work as a caregiver, and accomplished my client to an appointment in the building. As soon as we got into the lobby, she vomited on the floor. The ladies working at the front desk were top notch, supplied me with paper napkins, gloves, a trash bag, a bag in case my client needed to vomit again, and disinfectant wipes. Had a referral from my Endo at Kaiser for radio frequency ablation and haven't heard back from uw Endo dept., so I decided to call. Was on the phone for almost 30 minutes waiting for someone to pick up. Do better and answer calls from patients. This is awful. Edit: finally got a hold of someone just to be told my referral was denied and couldn't give me and thorough explanation as to why. If it was an insurance issue I'd understand as I was willing to pay out of pocket. It's awful that the only hospital/clinic that can do th... read more
