I’ve been type 2 for over 20 years. My personal physician recommended I see an endocrinologist and referred me here. No thank you - I’ll find another endo. 1. No appt with a doctor - a physicians assistant saw me. 2. The PA could have been my grandson and treated me like a brand new diagnosis. I got the belittling lecture of how to eat, what to eat, how many carbs per day, what my daily average b.s. should be, etc. Didn’t even cover age ranges, nutrition needs of older persons and the like. Nice, nurse and doctor. Walked me through new procedures for just finding out I have diabetes. Helpful when insurance had problems with prescriptions.
