This situation was extremely frustrating and unacceptable. I arrived only 12 minutes late to my appointment due to circumstances completely outside of my control. There was a snowstorm causing significant traffic delays, and despite trying to call ahead, I was unable to get through to anyone. I almost knock out just waiting for hours to get check in for my dislocated shoulder. The doctors and nurses are nice and friendly.

Unless you are having a heart attack or bleeding, you will not be seen for a good 2 - 3 hours. I’ve been coming to this hospital my entire life and it gets worse everytime. Here’s a trick to be seen immediately: call 911 and have the ambulance bring you in. If you’re going to show up, expect to be at this hospital for a minimum of 4 hours. Everytime I’ve been here I’ve spent about 6 hours. It’s insane how this is even legal.
