Approaching the birth of our first child, my husband and I appreciated having Jen’s expertise to guide us. Her confidence and experience–specifically with the hospital where we’d be giving birth–led us to hire her, and she helped us feel very secure leading up to labor. Jennifer was our birth doula and we couldn’t have done it without her. She was so supportive and amazing throughout the whole process. This was my first time giving birth and had a lot of anxiety around it. I couldn’t recommend her enough and I’m so thankful to have had her.
Jennifer is one of the kindest humans you’ll ever meet. We were lucky that she was available to support us as a postpartum doula when we were very sleep deprived with our two-month old. She took care of our baby, did laundry & dishes, then cooked us a meal for the next morning — all while we slept! Thank you Jennifer for helping us rest and make up some of our sleep debt!
Jenn was our doula for the birth of our second child. After the experience of our first child being born we knew exactly what we wanted from a doula and she did not disappoint. My wife's labor came on strong and Jenn was able to hop right into helping us (in exactly the way we needed) when she got there. I would certainly hire her again and cannot recommend her enough.
To try to find the words to summarize all the ways that Jennifer was helpful during both my births and recoveries would be near impossible, but I’ll give it a try. It’s like having your best friend with medical knowledge and a mother’s touch all wrapped in one. She took the time to learn about me, how I deal with hard times and how to best support me.
