Worst experience ever. Was so tired and stressed after long drive and a death in the family. Got there, room was ok. Not the view of the ocean as promised. Oh welll cold glass of water needed. Dirty fridge. Ice dispenser didn’t work. I trued to open the fridge and ice flew everywhere. Tried cleaning it up but when I saw how dirty the floors were, I gave up. Several weeks after making our reservation and a handful of weeks before our arrival, we were sent a message on the booking.com app purportedly from Encore, requesting credit card details as a preauthorisation payment. We supplied the requested details only to later find that neither Encore nor booking.com had made this request and we had been the victims of an elaborate scam and been swindled out of 581AUD.
