Established in 2001. Owning a part of a typical Boston Southend townhouse in 2000 we have been offered to buy to condo above our unit. That's when the idea for the B&B came up for the first time. It took just a little bit of research into the nature and the viability of this kind of business in this neighborhood and the decision was made to go ahead. We had a great experience over presidents day weekend. David greeted us when we arrived for an early baggage drop off so we could explore the city. Instead of just dropping our bags, we were guided to our room, which was ready for us as an early check-in. It was great to be able to drop off our luggage and freshen up after our flight before going out exploring. Our room (Albee) was spacious, and even had a reading nook. I stayed at the Encore Bed and Breakfast while I was in town for the NAEA 2019 conference happening at the Sheraton. I absolutely loved it! The hosts were very gracious and accommodating. It was great to be so close to the conference and not be stuck in the hotel the whole time I was here. My room was so spacious and charming. My entire experience was absolutely wonderful. This will definitely be at the top of the list of places to stay when I am in Boston.
Nice hosts, well designed rooms (ours was designed in a 1970ies, Woody Allen film set style) and excellent European-style breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay at the Encore. Definilety recommended.
