My wife and I both recieved assessments by Dr. Stacey Nelson. Mine was March of 2023, my wife in November of 2024. In both cases, the amount of time it took Dr. Nelson to produce a report of the assessment results was egregious. I didn't receive a copy of my report until nearly a year later, and my wife has yet to receive a copy of hers even though it has been requested several time by her as well as her therapist. Absolutely unacceptable way to practice medicine, especially for mental health.
Two of my children had evaluations done. Everything went great, but I'm still waiting to hear back about the results. Super frustrating because everything else went well.
I worked with Dr. Stacey Nelson for testing and diagnosis of my children. She was fabulous! She was very thorough, understanding my kids and their history, and testing through a trauma-informed lens. She is warm and kind and made my kids feel super comfortable, treated them as unique individuals. She took time to explain the results in detail and even set up a second appt to explain the results to my teenager in an age appropriate way.
