This is the worst insurance company in Idaho. I canceled my auto insurance with a live agent on the phone and confirmed that I did not owe anything after paying my final month. The agent told me that everything was taken care of. I received a collection notice from a collection agency that looks like they want an extra month from me. I have not received 1 notice from encompass stating that I owe any money and I canceled 3 months ago. Horrible insurance company. Victim of hit and run and they tried to close claim without settling. Luckily I had a lawyer. Second situation had to do with a cancellation. They hardly give you any warning before sending you to collections.I owed and they also gave me a refund check for same amount. I called to see what was going on. They told me to not cash the check. They would cancel it and apply that to what was due as there was a mistake so I shredded the check. Never heard anything more. All of a sudden, bill comes.
The person who hit me has this insurance and let me say not a fan!!!! Jonathon Kost is not every professional. He has given the run around about a car rental. I finally get one and now they only remeburs. I am a single mom to a special needs kid and soul provider for my house of 3. I talked to my insurance and a lawyer both said insurance should pay. Since not my fault. It seems to me they don't want to do anything to help. This whole incident has been one issue after another.
