2024: When I first arrived to ENCOMPASS a year ago, it was after my spinal surgery that left me paralyzed from the chest down. From independent to dependent in a matter of two days was something I had to get use to. I tried not to feel down about my situation. Arriving at ENCOMPASS made my journey that much easier.
