Multiple people worked with my father while he was there. I was allowed to watch my father during his sessions in the impressive gym. Although every therapist that worked with my Dad was professional and capable, Jia stood out because of her enthusiasm and positive attitude. My Dad definitely made progress and improved after his third and 4th stroke. I would recommend Encompass to my family and friends.
I spent a week there after being hit by a car while out walking. I experienced a traumatic brain injury and a spinal cord injury, so I was challenged by keeping my balance and shaking cobwebs from my head for a while. The staff was very helpful and polite, and the physical and occupational therapists were very good. The PT, Julie, was the best in the place, and Celia, the OC, was good, too.
Avoid this place at all cost. My mother was treated here and it was a disaster. All they cared about is their rating. The first couple of days were ok. But there LACK OF COMMUNICATION and covering up the true is real. The Case Managers don't care, confused about their own schedules, and have attitudes. I can say we were very kind and patient with them and did not receive the same feedback. The Case Manager director lied and told the Dr I had questions when I did not. Encompass Health really went out of their way to get me back on my feet. They really care about their patients.
Encompass Health was a wonderful place for my mom. The staff was kind, informative, and professional. The facility was clean and a safe. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who may need rehab.
