Great place to go for help
My 85 year old mother in for therapy with a broken femur unable to stand currently. Response to nurse calls are insane sometimes hours before they arrive. I had to convince my mother this was the best place to go to to learn to walk again now I'm not so sure. They need additional staff and people that actually care to help someone.
The therapy department was wonderful. The medical department allowed my family member to become impacted. Due to this event she has since suffered from polypharmacy toxicity and ended up back in the hospital. Every single day we would tell them she needed a stool softener and she would cry out from pain. After two weeks of this they finally had to manually remove her impaction. Because this was allowed to continue so long all of the pain medication was trapped in her body and ultimately caused toxicity.
Very helpful and wonderful staff and therapists!
