My review 5 months ago was a one star review so I figured I’d update it. *Still one star rating for me!* Let’s start with communication. The communication is horrible. People are scheduled to come “fix” an issue in your home and they never show. You try to reach warranty, good luck. You basically have to harass them to get anyone to answer. The house. The house has great space, but cosmetically it’s a nightmare. Doors won’t close, light shines through your door even after they’ve “fixed it” three times. Flooring is coming up... read more

Reduced this review from a 5 star to a 2 star. The house itself was built nice and fast and within budget and for that I originally rated 5 stars. However, the little things that have cropped up over the last nine months have caused issues. Small, generally cosmetic issues that have been getting progressively worse are not in and of themselves worthy of the low review, but the ABYSMAL customer service is! Hello! I wanted to give an in depth review now that we've lived in a DR Horton home for ~6 months now. The good, the bad and the neutral: • The structure and interior layout of our home (and the homes we toured before picking ours) are well thought out and amazingly done. The use of space for functionality and aesthetic appeal is top notch. • With the current housing market the first come first serve option of getting our home before it was ready and not having to get caught up in a bidding war was really nice.
