Unethical Billing, Zero Accountability, and Unprofessional Conduct I rarely write reviews, but our experience with Encino Orthodontics and Dr. Chau demands it. My family received a written quote of $3,448 for our child’s Phase I orthodontic treatment. After we changed insurance to MetLife—which offers a higher orthodontic benefit—the office unilaterally raised the total fee by hundreds of dollars, claiming they were “required” to follow MetLife’s contracted rate.
