Wife and I got the penthouse! We were ON THE BEACH; 3rd floor old school Florida! We visited 2 years ago, and ready to go back. Not a fancy Hilton, just perfect location for everything quiet and functional. HUGE 3RD FLOOR DECK. No elevator. Quick drive to Lauderdale Airport. Friendly family staff.
Very disappointing experience. The hotel canceled my reservation without any explanation — I only found out through a notification on Booking. I sent them a message asking why it was canceled, but they never replied. We had booked these apartments well in advance, and as a result we were left without accommodation and had to find another place during our trip, which ended up being much more expensive since it was last-minute. Extremely unprofessional and unreliable.
Yeah, they overbooked and cancelled our reservation. I imagine this is more reflective of the low ratings on here than the good ones

Wenn man nach einer langen Anreise nach 17 Uhr(!) ankommt, steht man erstmal dumm da. Nun musste man erstmal online einchecken und warten. Nichts geschah. Also die Hotline anrufen...dort war eine extrem unsympathische Frau, die zudem noch fragte um welches Hotel es denn gehen würde (?) Wieder warten. Keine Info. Wir total müde. Nochmal anrufen. Erneut war diese "freundliche" Frau an der Leitung und sie gab dann ENDLICH den benötigten Code um an unseren gebuchten Zimmerschlüssel zu kommen. Noch ne Sucherei (wo ist das Zimmer?... read more
