My family has used this company before with no complaints until last night. They got my sick sister to the hospital but the 2 emts/paramedics were plan rude. The woman told my sick sister that she should of just taken an uber instead of bothering them. The younger man compared her being sick to a car crash (& said would be more worth their time). Only time we've ever had an issue with emergency personal.
I had the pleasure of meeting Dan and Sade during a fall episode last week. These are top quality folks who made me reassured during the whole ride to the hospital. They went above and beyond as far as I am concerned, I was never more pleased. There are a good team
I’m not big on writing reviews, but I really wanted to take a moment to share how grateful my family and I are for Empress EMS. My grandmother had to be transported for the first time, and the young gentleman who helped her was amazing. She couldn’t remember his last name, but his name was Caleb, a Cadet from Poughkeepsie. He was caring, respectful, and went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and safe. You don’t meet many people with that kind of heart. I truly hope he’s recognized for the great work he did.
Unpleasant to be treated by. They had a good response time; however, they did no preliminary assessment before loading into the ambulance. Made me walk to the ambulance as I was sobbing in pain, and let me continue to cry in pain the majority of the way enroute. Enroute, they did vitals, and two different ECGs. EMT suggested issue may be anxiety related, and then proceeded to compare my symptoms to one of his own medical conditions (not the same diagnosis).
