Be cautious with EMSOC. We received a bill from them shortly after an ER visit, and it looked legitimate — but it turned out they had not submitted the claim to our insurance yet. We provided our insurance information multiple times (both by phone and email), but they still sent repeated bills rather than simply processing it. *** CHOC if you see this review, stop using this company. Every time I take my kids to CHOC I get a bill for the doctors because they don't know where to send the claims. Although I resolved the issue the first time, they still sent me a bill on different occasion because they still don't know where to send the claims even though I haven't changed insurances. Everytime this happens, I have to get my insurance to 3way call this company so that they can tell them where to send it. Outsourcing jobs suck.
My baby went to CHOC ER and we have the insurance of course. I paid the copay but I got a notice with full amount (even higher than the amount CHOC billed to the insurance company), now I need to spend time arugue with this EMSOC. Disgusting
