Horrible experience tonight with my epileptic sister. Ambulance #352. This is the third time with EMSA unsurprisingly. EMT refused to enter the home because it was "smokey". (No one smokes here?) Forced my confused sister to walk down a stairwell, which any medical professional should know is dangerous after a seizure. Why would someone become an emergency responder if you're not going to help during an emergency? It doesn't make sense. Wouldn't even give me his name when he has my disabled sister in his care. My mother was picked up last night by emsa. I. I told them many many times not to take my mother. She had gotten lost and was confused and instead of them waiting on me to get there to her they decided to put her in the ambulance and drive off with this $1000 bill. The paramedic also told me that my mother was actively having a stroke which is why she did not want me to remove her from the ambulance..
