The Empress is a dangerous unsanitazry dump and a total rip-off. Price gouging is the general rule. In my opinion, The owner is what qualifies as a female slum-lord
I stayed here last week...its a cozy little place...free parking and only two blocks from the famous french quarter. And the price was unbelievable.
