When we were looking for a taekwondo school for my 3 and 4 year okd we came across Empowered. We werent sure they were open but i reached out to the email address on the website. I got a response amd within a day was chatting with master Danielle and after a trial class the kids were hooked! My 3 year old is a wild child and Master Lee has been able to take him from a tasmanian devil to a much more focused kid. He actually can make it through class now and is pretty good! We searched Alexandria for a great martial arts program for our daughter, and Empowered Martial Arts Academy came out on top - even though there are a number of closer options to us. We are not disappointed. Master Danielle balances her many years of experience with fun and engagement for our 5 year-old. Empowered keeps even the young ones fully engaged. Our three year old son started martial arts classes with Master Danielle and Master Lee this year. We are 4 months in and have had an excellent experience so far. Our son loves doing taekwondo with Empowered a couple days a week. They also offer summer camps, before and after school programs, and classes for all ages, and they are one of the only ones in Alexandria with a little dragons program for kiddos under four. Thanks Empowered for a great program!
Our experience has been exceptional. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for an after care program. My son loves his teachers and he looks forward to it every time. My son has been blessed with awesome teachers who understand his challenges and handle him with grace.
