Spoke to Gwen (PIC) this past week, just wanted to give recognition. I am both a prescribing clinician and patient of Empower, and she was able to solve my issue efficiently, and from a patient stand point, very empathetically. She clearly has the best interest of the patient in mind and genuinely cares... this reflects very well on Empower. Empower; please forward to the correct people that Gwen was an amazing help and is greatly appreciated!
Fast and friendly service. My first time with them and my dosage was short. I didn't know what to do so I ended up throwing the vial away. They said they could only help me if I had photo proof. But I had already thrown it away. I told them this and haven't heard back from them since. My doctor says this never happens so it must be user error but I followed instructions. I can't believe this NEVER happens. I'm going to say this is going to be a hard pass for me.
I receive my GLP-1 supplied from Empower. The packaging is RIDICULOUS. A tiny vial comes in a large box, that has a large styrofoam cooler in it with three good-sized ice packs in the cooler with the tiny vial. Every month. It is a packaging nightmare. Before I was receiving product from Empower, I would get a small shipment that had a metal water bottle in it with two frozen ice sticks inside the bottle. Awesome and reusable. If there was a negative star, i would of chose that!! If there is 1 positive review about this place, IT HAS TO BE BECAUSE THEY PAID THEM TO SAY POSITIVE THINGS. this is the worst Pharmacy ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE A provider!!! I’ve remained on hold for 20-30 minutes and it takes an additional 20 minutes to place a prescription order. This time I ordered online the second week of May. They charged me on 5-22 but my order has not shipped yet and it’s 6-3. They promised me that they would escalate my order but I have lost confidence in them. Update: This last time I ordered, it took a total of 8 minutes to call, hold, and place my order. It shipped in two days. They must have been having growing pains. I will continue using them. 💕
