Clean gym with friendly staff
Former Golds gym and has all the vibes, equipment and support expected of a Golds. Very motivating crowd, inclusive and considerate staff, more than one rack per location, cages, traditional and larger OLY style plates. ***Also extremely clean facility!***. I’ve gone for about 2 years, during chemo, hospitalizations, surgical recovery etc. always felt safe and comfortable using equipment when I see staff cleaning the entire floor multiple times a day.
I’ve been a member of Empower since it was Gold’s gym on 5th street. It is an incredible place to workout, the vibe there is amazing. I’ve never felt out of place or nervous to go workout. They are like my family there. I have many times asked the owners themselves and some of the staff for help with spotting on heavy lifts or tips on form and they have always helped with a smile on their face.
