Website says immediate openings for testing, however, when you call they tell you it is two months out but they do not schedule appointments. They say they will call when it’s time. How can a parent (or anyone that works) plan with that? The website is not how it is.

We took our two year old son here to get evaluated for autism. After the evaluation the evaluator told us our son had mild autism, but we would schedule another session to go over in depth his test results. She stated it be maybe a week or two before she would get back to us. Well, fast forward to two months later and she has yet to reach out. We don’t have the official diagnosis or any documentation. I have UnitedHealthcare insurance, and my doctor put in a referral for my daughter to get tested. Because I am a woman of color, they automatically assume I have United Healthcare Community plan (Ohio Medicaid coverage). They said I have to pay for services firstly before my daughter can be seen.
