Achingly delicious pies with achingly expensive prices. My wife tried their version of a chess pie. One slice. She said it was the best she’d had since she ate one on Route 66 decades ago. We had to go back and buy two more slices four days later. This location, just off the McKinney square, always seems busy. As I said, for these pies with perfect crusts and imaginative flavors, you pay dearly. It’s currently worth the occasional splurge, though.

Every pie I’ve tried here is absolutely scrumptious. They have regulars, seasonal offerings, and new products as well. Very creative, and staff are kind.

We liked Emporium Pies! The storefront is very cute and fun environment. The pies are very delicious especially with the bluebell ice cream. The apples were perfectly cooked and the crumble on top was generous and delicious. The chocolate pie with pretzel crust was also great with the super sweet and rich filling and the salty crust. I do kind of with the had a pie for chocolate lovers such as Oreo crust, chocolate filling, and chocolate topping of some sort.

Something changed about the way these pie taste, I had not ordered for a while went back to give them another try, terrible not worth the price, I would have done a better job making it myself. This is for lazy people who cannot bake. Parking is horrible will not be back. Maybe it is just this location.
