Empire wrestling has been an excellent program for my son. Just a short drive from Dutchess, but worth any distance. John Degl the founder is a legend that has been coaching this sport for over 30 years, after competing under the greatest coach in the history of the sport in the best program. The level of coaching at Empire is at an extremely high level. The coaches Have a lot of love for this sport and the for kids that show up. I’ve known John Degl for a very long time as he coached and trained my brother 20 years ago to be one of the best in the NY state .
