Visionworks closed without notice due to Covid. My partner purchased glasses on November 23rd, 2020. We missed the first pickup day a week later. The next day they were closed without notice (no phone call or anything) and no method to pick up the glasses in a socially distanced manor. A worker was inside when we stopped by and refused to drop his glasses outside. They should have mailed them at the very least. Their customer service is extremely poor at this location. I usually have to make a separate trip to find out if my order is ready since nobody answers the phone at the Kingston, NY store....maybe you could improve by actually following through on your commitments.

I have been trying to make appointments since post COVID-19 the appointment pages does not give any open dates and NO ANSWERS the phone I need to make a appointment if anyone works there would be great to answer the phone getting very mad that people are getting paid to work and no one answer the phone this should not be happening
The Kingston store NEVER answers their phones. even pre-Covid I have stood inside being taken care of and watched everyone around ignore the phones that ring and ring and ring. We are currently mid-pandemic and I would really prefer to talk to someone over the phone rather than being forced into a public space JUST to schedule an appointment. Worst place ever! Change our appointments for a family of 6, then only change 1 out of 6. Take 40 minute drive to find out then. Nobody answers phones, ever! Can’t keep insurance/clerical stuff straight. Never going back!
The staff was very rude and looked at me like I was stupid when I walked in and asked to have my eyes checked. The sign in front of the store says “walk-in’s welcome”.... well that was not the case at all. When I asked for an appt the next available appointment was for December 28th!!! Unreal. Very disappointing. They were not accommodating at all and I will be taking my business elsewhere
