I was shamed by the doctor for having a high pressure reading, like she couldn't believe I would possible go without an eye exam for a few years. I lost my health insurance and now have a better plan so I couldn't go to any doctor for a while. They are impersonal and make you feel like garbage. They refused to set lenses in the only pair of glasses that I am comfortable in. They act like they could do without my business so I won't be coming back. No one really seemed to WANT to be there. Horrible experience.
I booked an appointment two months ago for this coming Thursday for an eye exam/updated prescription, and today I received a text to tell me that my appointment is going to be virtual/telehealth. I was not told that it was going to be virtual when I booked the appt, I was led to believe I would be seeing an in-person optometrist. I don't know how you can get an accurate prescription for glasses virtually.
Vision Works in Kingston is outstanding..everyone is always professional and kind..in every aspect..from start to finish..been coming to this one for years..Thank you all for always explaining each and every step..and putting our minds at ease..You should all be commended for the great service you all provide. I've written a review about this place before and am coming back, on a separate email account, to write another. it's the worst place in the world. want to get in touch with someone over the phone? good luck. want to get your correct contact prescription? yeah right. want to get your records? not happening. this place makes me rage with its incompetence. I've been paying out of pocket rather than returning here and it has been an amazing decision.
