My sales rep was great. The installation was horrible. Installer showed up, did 1/3 of the job, left my steps ripped apart and dangerous, then came back two days later and did what appeared to be a decent job. He put tape all over my steps and told me to pull it off 24 hours later when the glue dried. When I pulled it off my step moved and slid around, multiple risers had paint peel off, and there were multiple areas with gobs of caulking which looks horrible. Wonderful experience! Bought on Tuesday and had everything financed and installed the next day. Gave the receipt to my insurance company (Ian) and received my reimbursement check in two days! Loved my salesman and installers were outstanding. I am super pleased and have recommended Empire to my friends and family!
The experience was as bad as going to a car dealer. The salesman opened up with "do you have any bids already and what is your budget?" This was nothing but a sales call disguised as a home measurement. Yes we have a bid already, but we're not stupid enough to tell you what it is. Empire's first quote was $27,000! This is for about 1500 square feet of vinyl plank flooring. Unbelievable!
