Loved "Whitney Houston" &the Richmond Symphony were awesome
I purchased PIT tickets to see Travis Wall's Shaping Sound --- Unfortunately I couldn't see the entire performance as we were below stage level. And what I could see was only from the knee up. Not real helpful while watching a dance show. While I thought I had great seats, what I had unknowingly purchased was 'Obstructed View' seats. The seats should have been sold that way at a very reduced rate.
This was my first time there since the renovations. It is a beautiful theater and the show was fantastic! We were in the Orchestra section and could see the stage well. Plenty of leg room which was very nice.
Beautiful venue. Staff was great and plenty of them. The sound was great as well as Switchfoot and Reliant K rocked !
Travis Wall's "Shaping Sound Dance Co.—Dance Reimagined" was FANTASTIC! A beautiful love story. My husband and I enjoyed it so much. 'Queen' music was our favorite.

I just held my wedding ceremony and reception at the Altria Theater, and what an absolutely phenomenal and beautiful venue it was! The food, catered by the in-house caterer Savor (with head chef Carlos) was incredible! The filet mignon was served, to all of my 240 guests, beautifully medium-rare!!! The decor and ambience is nothing short of elegant and beautiful! It's a MUST to book your event at the Altria Theater!
I'm a wedding planner, and we just did a large wedding here with lots of moving parts. The Altria staff was so accommodating, quick to respond, and on point through the whole event. The catering staff was professional, quick, and the food was amazing. I will definitely be adding this venue to my list for future clients.
