The theater was very nice and the ushers were very helpful. My only complaint is that when the show starts, no one should be allowed in. If you are late, sorry. This happened to us yesterday and because these people were late and was being seated when the show was underway, our entire row had to stand up to let them in and this was an inconvenience to those seated behind us. Your website says that no one is allowed in once the show starts. There should be no food or drink, this is a live performance not a movie theater.
It was my first theater show and it couldn't have been better. The book of Mormon was hilarious and the people were great. A little crowded during intermission but it was to be expected with a full to capacity crowd. I had a fantastic experience and I am looking forward to doing it again.
Love the Book of Mormon. However, they didn't let me take my bottle of water inside. That never happened to me in New York or DC. Guess that's a way to realize you are in a small town.
Fabulous theater. Beautifully restored and updated. Best show venue between NYC and Atlanta.

The theatre is beautiful. The staff are friendly and very helpful. If you are tall, or have difficulties with your knees/legs, do not sit in the balcony. There is no leg room, especially if you are not in the first row of seats.
The Altria Theater itself is absolutely magnificent and the production is superb.
