Had no issues when I went here and saw Dr. Powalski. He has since retired and I saw the Nurse Practioner (H.M.) and found her to be somewhat not very personable and businesslike. Have now found a new practice (closer to my home) to go to which I am very happy with.
I have been with this practice for about 3 years, I have had nothing but good experiences with my medical treatment and staff. However, billing has been a nightmare. I received a stating a had failed to pay a 10 dollar charge that and that if I didn't respond to the letter within 10 days, the payment would go to collections and I would be dismissed from the practice. It was past 10 days when I opened the letter and this was the second time I had an issue with getting a bill after being told I was paid up. So I took it for wh... read more
Been going there for over 35 years. My Dr retired, so went to another in practice. Went for yearly exam and asked a few questions as I have done the last 35 years. Got my EOB from insurance and was charged 97.00 for physicians visit on top of routine exam. Had to pay 48.64 out of pocket. I have never been charged additional until I went to the new doctor. Not happy with them.
I had a really rough time with hyperemesis throughout my entire pregnancy but Dr. Weselak & her amazing staff never gave up on looking for solutions and supported me while I was suffering. Dr. Weselak, NPs Helen & Kristen, the ultrasound techs, the receptionists, and all of the rest of the staff were always very kind & I truly felt the meaning of “it takes a village” from all of them. I had a terrible time here with my pregnancy. I felt in the dark about my own health and a lot of preventable things could’ve been avoided had people done what they needed to do. For some examples: my prenatal bloodwork wasn’t ordered until week 16ish when I needed it to get scheduled at the children’s hospital for a misdiagnosis Empire had given me (went from thinking my baby would need surgery right out of the womb, to finding out she just wasn’t releasing her bladder fully).
