Experience Queeny in the off season
Had dinner at the Empire Hotel as part of our (2 adults + 1 child) Tasmania road trip overnight stopover at Queenstown, Western Australia. Nothing fancy. Good ol'pub food washed down with beer in a historical hotel with lots of history and character. However, our experience goes like this: 1. Friendly bar tender who told us to just walk in. We did. Went for tea, had the best pub steak I've had in a very long time. Everyone else's food looked really good. Food was served fast no complaints will be coming back again.
Great Value staying at the Empire Hotel! Comfortably slept 3 in a shared bathroom room, Beds were clean and comfy, room had a very capable heater and the shared bathroom was well kept and recently refurbished not much in the way of soap provided and it seemed to differ between bathrooms with the shower down the end having a dispenser inside the cubicle while others had soap bars on bench tops.
