I purchased an $1100 heater that had FREE shipping because it was over $99. Upon getting the heater I realized that it wouldn't work for my application and that I needed a different heater that was more expensive. I reached out to empireheaterparts.com and let them know I would pay for the shipping return of the heater and pay the restocking fee and also pay for the difference in cost for the bigger heater and for the shipping of that heater to me. website indicated they had the part I needed. paid for overnight air. I actually got the part overnight, received the next morning.OMG, that never happens!

I bought an Empire SR10W 10,000 BTU Infrared Natural Gas Vent Free Space Heater from Empire Heater Parts. Upon opening the box it was obvious that this unit had been mounted on a wall from the wear marks around the mounting holes. In my opinion, it was clearly a return/factory refurb. I installed it anyway because the marks wouldn't be visible. After a day or two I noticed a faint gas smell. I checked all my doped fittings with soapy water and they were all well sealed. I removed the front panel of the unit and sprayed soapy... read more

I was sent the wrong parts. I called and never received a response. Beware, hope you get the right part!
