Does anyone know if it’s normal or their usual procedure to have a 2 day wait to get a fuel oil delivery? I called and emailed them bf 8 am that I am under a 1/4 tank. They said I could pay to get a 100 gallon emergency delivery of over $350, if I wanted it by tomorrow. I told them I couldn’t do that as they know I am a Heap customer. I know that it’s colder now that it’s Dec 1st but back on October 28, ‘25, I spoke to Dan and they came within 1 day which I really appreciated. I have been a customer of Empire Fuel for 6 years. One of the things I loved about them is their price match guarantee which they have always abided by. Unfortunately today, they refused to price match, which has lost my business. I will be switching to Riniboy Fuel who beat their price by over 30 cents at $2.88. The reason they did not accept the price match was because Empire claimed that Riniboy Fuel does not service my area, however I spoke with Riniboy fuel this morning and they told me they do deliver to my area.
