The administration of Empath are uncaring and unconcerned with customer service. They are unethical in their billing practices, terrible at communication, and DO NOT care about their patients except for the $ they can make.

I was initially impressed with Empath HH. They set up OT, PT, ST and skilled nursing services for my 86-yo mom who has dementia. A couple of weeks in, a nurse told me that mom would be discharged from skilled nursing services as she’s stable. She asked if this was ok with me and I agreed. She told me that the other therapies would continue. Then an administrator sent a discharge form indicating that mom would be discharged from ALL services for reasons that didn’t make sense to me at all. After having surgery I was visited by Empath Nurses Royer and Yamirka. They were both personable and professional. They set a time and were there on time. They both answered any questions I had. I also had a visit from Heather from PT. She also was on time personable, professional and informative. My experience was excellent! The nurses and PT were visiting my husband Jim who had bypass surgery.

Nurses are not scheduling a time when they are coming. This is not acceptable as I need to ensure someone is here with my husband and that he is up and about. As with any other company, I would expect a window of time for their arrival.
