Metastatic melanoma was a challenging diagnosis to receive. In 2017 I was on the front end of the lifesaving immunology drugs that changed the way cancer is treated. Dr David Lawson - a saint whose statue should be erected in front of the building - personally oversaw my treatment. I am grateful for his care. I am now on another journey at Winship with CLL. Same brilliant care - this time from Dr Koff. If you are walking this path I highly recommend you seek out Winship Cancer Institute at Emory as soon as possible.
Oh my goodness, my experience with Dr. Jolinta Lin and staff at Emory Winship from October 2022-December 2022(33 rounds) was an experience that will forever be etched in my heart. I feel grateful to have gone through this with this particular Dr. and I need for the world to know that if ya gotta go through it, it needs to be with them.
