Luke was very informative and responsive to my questions as I researched purchasing an EPropulsion Navy 3 outboard electric motor for my sailboat. Emo electric, and Luke in particular, has been top notch in my dealings with them. Delivering the ePropulsion eLite as quickly as they possibly could. I am using the eLite motor primarily as a get out and back in again to the dock space, but have also been pleasantly surprised at how efficient it is under prolonged running when finding myself losing the wind. Locks for e-propulsion motor and battery work well. Only four stars due to price but it’s the only thing that seems to work on the market. Well made.

I recently purchased an electric outboard for our dinghy from EMO. The motor has worked well and we enjoy the silent power. Most impressive is the low speed operation. It requires very little energy from the battery and yet moves the boat at speeds faster than rowing. Last week I ran into a problem while visiting our boat in the harbor in a stiff breeze. We purchased the new ePropulsion eLite motor for our dinghy. Luke Hickling was most helpful with direct communications with us as soon as we expressed interest. He answered all of our questions and made sure we were comfortable with the shaft length to match our dinghy’s transom height. The unit works perfectly and is a pleasure to use versus our previous Honda 2.3 gasoline engine. Luke’s video is also extremely helpful in understanding the features of the engine and recommended care and maintenance. Thank you Luke!
