Look no further! If you are thinking at all about getting an electric outboard motor for your boat, EMO Electric is the place to go. As we have gotten older, it is to the point where putting the heavy gas motor on our dinghy is very difficult. Have some friends who have an electric motor for their dinghy so we decided to do some research. EMO has fantastic videos to compare and contrast and also help you figure out shaft size. Luke was so helpful and patient with me. We ordered our motor from EMO. Was an easy choice.
I called Luke about an E-Lite. He was very helpful and answered all my questions. I was thinking I would be good with a short shaft but he steered me to a long shaft. He was right. Motor is real cool.
If you are considering the purchase of an electric motor, you must call EMO Electric! Luke at EMO is absolutely excellent - knowledgeable, helpful, and very patient with my many questions and concerns. He also has great videos explaining in easy-to-follow detail all that one would want to know about electric motors. I live thousands of miles from the physical location of EMO Electric but will continue to work with Luke in the future as his skill and service are a fine rarity that I very much appreciate.
