Liza appears to have come through dental procedure with no ill effects and today is doing fine.
Such a great experience with the team and Dr. Gardiner at EMMAvet. You know it's a outstanding place when your dog WANTS to go to the Vet.
If you are considering whether to take your animal here, please do not hesitate to call them immediately. I took my dog to over 10 vets in the past week and a half and this is the only vet who has had the compassion, kindness, integrity, and consideration to address her complex case. I would not consider going anywhere else after the incredible care that has been provided for Stormy.
Update: I've been bringing my young chihuahua mix to EmmaVet since I'm back in Alexandria full-time and have found them to be caring and kind to me, my sister, and Poppy. I brought him in a spider costume and the reaction from staff was impressive. The only downside was $50.00 for nail clipping, but I'm glad to have a vet close to home. They've handled two other older pets put downs with the same empathy and consideration. I brought my 11 year old cat, Tia, in and the staff and veterinarian were wonderful.
