Dr. Martinez and his staff are the best!
This review does not reflect Dr Martinez but one of his staff members, A medical assistant Hannah. We have been going to Dr Martinez for years. His front desk and EMG nurse are fantastic, even if the test hurts the EMG nurse is always careful and aware. But the medical assistant is the most toxic employees I have ever seen. I heard this woman, Hannah, yelling at another coworker, making her cry and leave work early. It is extremely upsetting that this behavior is happening and this probably wasn't the first time either. The front desk personnel was very eager to help. She is a great listener. The medical assistant was courteous and timely. Dr. M was behind the schedule, but took enough time with me to hear me out. His manner was very comforting, and I am looking forward visiting the next appointment.
Dr. Martinez is the best! He takes times with his patients. My only advice is DO NOT BE LATE! They will turn you away!
I had explained that I had some trauma and would need breaks to compose myself during my procedure. When I needed that break to compose myself, the Dr. sighed, annoyed and snapped if I was done being upset yet so he could finish. The nurses/assistants were so uncomfortable. The best part is that he said there is nothing neurological wrong with me when, in fact, I have been diagnosed with a live-long neurological disease.
