My 99 year old mother was released from hospital to the Hayward center. No hospital bed just one without guardrails and when questioned about the safety, they responded with placing a gym mat on floor. Needless to say, we called 911 and moved her back to hospital. Staff was good intentioned but understaffed. No RN, just CNA's and one LVN.
