My husband has been a patient of Dr. Zervos for approximately three years for suspected pancreatic cancer. Dr. Zervos was also my mother’s colon cancer doctor. We found a physician who was caring and forthright with the surgery and treatment for both my husband and mom. My husband had 1/3 pancreas and all of spleen removed and mom had a portion of colon removed. Mom lived two months shy of 100 and my husband at 82 is playing golf and doing volunteer work. We are proud to call Dr Zervos our doctor and now a friend.
Dr Zervos was the doctor that discovered my mom’s pancreatic cancer that meatasized to her liver. He basically acted as God by telling her how many months she had to live. He barely gave her time to come out of recovery before breaking this devastating news to her (which we her kids asked him not to do) Fast forward to finding out that the drug Junivia given to diabetic patients like my mom would be 45% more likely to get pancreatic cancer.
