In April 2021 I saw Dr. Mathiesen for the removal of a Nexplanon implant and the insertion of a new one. I was never able to feel the new implant the way I had been able to feel the two previous ones I had. Two months ago I attempted to have the implant she put in removed only to be told that she had inserted it too deeply in my arm to be removed via normal office visit. I had two different doctors attempt to remove it in office with no success. I have to have surgery if I want this thing out of my body but I can't afford it... read more
Hands down the best physician you could ever ask for. Throughout my pregnancy she was attentive, caring, and had the best bedside manner. She put me at ease with first pregnancy worries. Would never see anyone else!
Dr. Mathiesen is by far the best doctor. She is personable, attentive and really goes the extra mile. She called me at home while she was on her own maternity leave to tell me I made the right decision. THE BEST!!!
