Dear Rich, I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the services provided by EmiKay Construction. From start to finish, my experience with them has been nothing short of disastrous. Hiring them is the equivalent of lighting your money on fire. Never in my life I have experienced such unprofessionalism from a company. I hired EmiKay to remodel my kitchen as well as some jobs in our downstairs bathroom. Our kitchen remodel took double the time he said, which is credited to them not showing up. I took off work numerous days so they could work on the house, only I found myself waiting around for someone who never showed. When I would reach out to him, it took days to get a response. I hired this contractor to remodel my kitchen and it was a nightmare from start to finish. The contractor showed up late, left early, and did a sloppy job. He installed the cabinets crooked, the countertops cracked, the tiles chipped, and the plumbing leaked. He also damaged my hardwood floors, walls, and appliances. He refused to fix anything or honor his warranty. He overcharged me for materials and labor and threatened to sue me if I didn’t pay him in full. He was rude, unprofessional, and dishonest. Had Emikay Construction do some work converting our living Room/dining room into one large great room. We get compliments on the craftsmanship every time we have someone over. They were clean, punctual and a pleasure to work with. I’d highly recommend them.

Richie and his team constructed a new staircase in one of my renovation properties, to widen and improve the pitch. The stairs are exactly what was needed, the job was quick and the workmanship outstanding. Highly recommend.
