My beef is this they sell a kit for the passive guitars .i bought the kit on sweet water and it says all necessary parts to install solder-less kit . Kit came wired to short .battery and output jack . Sweet water said call they will take care me. Emg said we don’t give parts out for free . Like there site and same with them it does not have a disclaimer or like a astrik in the description saying on some v or larger body guitars will need to order separate wiring that you can purchase with them ? I’ve had reg EMG’s for years but recently I upgraded one of my guitars with X series and am in love with them! The solderless install is amazing, so as a result I might start equipping more of my guitars with the X series. Their customer service is really helpful as well.
