I would give it zero, if I could. After being given an incorrect estimate and setting up payments, they billed me almost $500 more, stating the insurance gave them that estimate. Following many hours and many phone calls between Diana and my insurance company, I found out that Emery never called (as they originally stated) to get this estimate; instead, they pulled it from a "medicare allowed amount." This is the first time I have come for anything other than a mammogram, which I can say has been a very good experience considering the type of image. I scheduled a Saturday appointment to work around my work schedule and the MRI machine was down so I was rescheduled to an week day afternoon appointment, only to wait for over an hour.Would it have been a simple courtesy to let me know how long they were running behind.
