As a felon it was almost impossible to find someone to rent to me considering I just got out of prison for possession. I have no family to help and I will say this I'm thankful to not be on the streets homeless anymore I'm not from Kansas city I moved here after my grandma passed in Feb. So I'm blessed.to have a place to stay. But the building is dirty and the bugs are unbearable I keep my apartment clean and still bugs everywhere
Get a dose of reality. Have some conversations with the people sitting on the front porch. they will tell you the truth. The "locked door" on the first floor may lock shut about 1/2 the time and the top three floors security doors are usually destroyed and won't lock.
